As you know, Frontline has drawn a line in the sand – this is the year that we protect children in this state from barbaric castration and sterilization. After a wildly successful 2022 legislative session, we set this as a top priority for 2023 nearly one year ago.

Today, a bill will be heard in committee, and we are asking for your prayers.

Working with Senator Clint Dixon, we helped craft SB 141 – which has comprehensive and clear language and definitions that would prevent surgeries as well as chemical abuse used on vulnerable children. This legislation also has important parental rights components, and we are grateful for Sen. Dixon’s bold sponsorship.

What will be heard today (at 3:00pm) in Senate Health Committee, however, is SB 140 – which needs language revisions to achieve its objectives and be legally sound. Our team is working diligently to advise on language revisions and is engaging in good faith dialogue with legislators to strengthen this bill.

It is our hope that amendments will be made to the current version and that a stronger version of SB 140 can pass committee today and move forward. We cannot, however, risk ultimately losing on this issue for a temporal victory, and we will not support legislation that causes us to move backwards.

The cause is great, and it is just. The people of Georgia are with us, and we are seeing major momentum across partisan divides behind the cause of protecting vulnerable children.

Now is the time.

This is a moment we cannot let pass by.

And we cannot afford to get this wrong.

Please pray. Pray for wisdom. Pray for the right language. And, pray for the children who are at risk of harm from this radical agenda.

I am hopeful and prayerful, and I am comforted by knowing that you are standing with us in this fight and joining us in prayer.

Stay tuned and stay committed to putting this before Him who has already won the victory.

For His Glory,
