This week we are celebrating Mothers!

Proverbs 31 is guiding our conversation on what it means to be a biblical mother, and today we celebrate the fact that a biblical mom is virtuous.

In today’s society, where liberal activists are pushing for a new definition of what it means to be a woman, the Proverbs 31 woman stands as a powerful example of what true femininity looks like. The rising tide of immorality in America is a cause for great concern. We are becoming increasingly permissive, and our traditional values are being eroded. We must unite to protect virtue in America before it’s too late.

The breakdown of the family, the influence of popular culture, and the decline of religion are all contributing factors. But regardless of the cause, we cannot afford to sit idly by and watch as our country slides further into moral decay.

We must take action, both individually and collectively, to promote and defend the values that honor God. This means speaking out against immorality, supporting organizations that promote biblical virtue, and setting a good example for others to follow. We must also work to strengthen our families, our communities, and our churches, so that they can serve as bulwarks against the tide of immorality. The future of our country depends on our willingness to stand up for what is right and just… our virtues.

It’s important to turn to the Bible for guidance on how to protect virtue and encourage it in others. One of the most important things we can do is to guard our hearts and minds against temptation. Proverbs 4:23 says, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” This means that we need to be careful about what we allow into our minds and hearts, whether it’s through the media we consume or the company we keep. We also need to be intentional about cultivating virtuous habits, like prayer, Bible study, and acts of kindness. James 1:27 reminds us that “religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”

A Biblical virtuous mom is a woman who embodies the values and principles outlined in the Bible. They are women who prioritize their families and are committed to raising their children in a Godly manner. They are women who are kind, patient, and compassionate, and who seek to serve others. Biblical virtuous mothers are women who understand the importance of discipline, both for themselves and for their children, and who strive to live lives of integrity and honor.

They are women who are not afraid to stand up for what they believe in, even if it means going against the cultural norms of the day. In a world that is increasingly hostile to traditional values, biblical virtuous mothers are a beacon of hope, reminding us that it is possible to live a life of purpose and meaning, even in the midst of chaos and confusion. As we celebrate Mother’s Day, let us honor and appreciate the biblical virtuous mothers in our lives, and let us strive to emulate her example of faith, love, and sacrifice.
