Yesterday, Bruce Thompson was sworn in as Georgia’s Labor Commissioner.

Today, we held our first Church Ambassador Network meeting with him – praying for him and his staff, encouraging him, and discussing how church leaders can bless the Labor Department and the State of Georgia.

What. An. Awesome. Time!

Commissioner Thompson has long had a relationship with our organization. He has been a dear friend, strong ally, and committed Brother-in-Christ. We are so excited that God has raised him up to this position of authority!

In this meeting, we shared the Word with Bruce and his staff, prayed for him and over the group, and we connected pastors with the department. We look forward to seeing these relationships flourish and to the Church filling a role in partnership with the department.

Already, we have more Church Ambassador Network meetings set up with other leaders and legislators.

This is exactly what the Church is supposed to be doing!

If you want to make sure to see this initiative flourish, please contribute today. Generous supporters have formed a $100,000 matching grant – allowing your donation to be MATCHED DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR. Please make your best tax-deductible donation today!

We are so excited by what God is doing, and we are grateful to Commissioner Thompson, his team, and the pastors that joined us. It was a blessed time of fellowship.
