Good Morning Pastor,

Foster Care Awareness Sunday is this Sunday, May 7th!

We have FREE RESOURCES to help you quickly highlight this needed announcement in your Church from Governor Kemp and Commissioner Broce.

There are over 11,000 children in Georgia’s foster care system and more than 2,000 of them sleep in hotel rooms across Georgia. There are 12,929 active church congregations in Georgia.

We’ve made it easy for your church to highlight this need.

We worked with Department of Human Services Commissioner Candice Broce to produce a brief video, which you can show in your church to raise awareness about the great work of foster families.

We also created a simple bulletin insert that includes important statistics about foster care in Georgia as well as practical tips for your congregation to support children in the foster care system. The insert is in PDF form and can be printed on most office printers.

If every church had one foster family, Georgia could put every child in foster care in a Christian home.

Foster parents provide life changing love and compassion when children need it most, and we can never recognize them enough. We are excited to officially recognize Foster Care Awareness Sunday to encourage Christians across the state to support foster parents.

We hope you will join us in recognizing Foster Care Awareness Sunday. With your help, we can raise awareness and inspire Christians to solve our foster care crisis.

God Bless,
